KARLUK RIVER: A native camp on Kodiak Island’s most productive river fishing all species of salmon. Both fly and lure fishing. Comfortable, small lodge handles 6 anglers. Wonderful people, great meals. and price make this well worth your consideration. Karluk Village is small and remote and very historically interesting. Summer Special: $1475.00 week. King and coho (silver) season: $1895.00 week.
HOMER: At the tip of the Kenai Peninsula lies the fishing village of Homer, often referred to a the Halibut capitol of the world. The lodge is a series of peeled log cabins with excellent accommodations and meals overlooking Beluga Lake. From these comfortable surroundings anglers fish daily for halibut and Salmon. Fishing the Kenai River for the world’s largest king salmon happens in May and June. Dolly Varden and rainbow trout fishing is also available. During August and early September combination halibut and coho (silver salmon) trips leave port daily and this may be the most exciting fishing on the Kenai. All fully guided. All tackle is provided. KING SALMON: Our pleasant little lodge on the Naknek River offers private accommodations as well as hearty, Alaskan family style meals which include home made breads and deserts. This remarkable river system remains clear and fishable at all times. 16 – 20 foot guided jet boats are used. Outstanding catches king, sockeye, chum and silver (coho) salmon depending on the dates chosen corresponding with the many runs. Rainbow trout, grayling, Dolly Varden and lake trout also available in good numbers. Many of the lodge’s guests choose to pay an exciting visit to famous Brooks Falls to photograph the Alaskan brown bear feeding on salmon. Fishing King Salmon $3499.00 week. Shorter pkgs. available.
DELUXE FLY OUT LODGES: We have several deluxe fly out lodges in the Lake Illiamna area. These first class lodges are located on good fishing waters but are also have a fleet of float planes enabling anglers to fly out each day to remote and highly productive waters. Accommodations are exceedingly comfortable and meals gourmet. Remote and comfortable $5000 to $6000 week.
DILLINGHAM TICK CHICK: One of the most beautiful spots in Alaska, this wonderful little camp is a true Alaskan outback experience. Guests stay in small, comfy cedar cabins overlooking the lake. There are separate hot shower and toilet facilities. Meals are fabulous and all homemade. An average of 1.5 million sockeye salmon migrate directly in front of the lodge each year in July. There are very big Arctic char taken here as well. Sight casting to raising grayling is great fun. Four spectacular rainbow trout rivers are fished from the lodge reached by jet boat. All fishing fully guided. Northern pike are numerous in the shallow bays and weed beds. Fabulous homemade meals $3500.00 6 nights.
