Guatemala Fishing Report

March 2008

Fishing International client June Cormier spent a few days fishing Guatemala in March and reports back:

Hi Bill,

Just a quick note to let you know that we have returned from our fishing trip to Guatemala. We had the time of our lives! Carlos and Les made us feel like royalty, the villa was perfect, the Captain, Francisco and mates, Johnny and Nato were excellent. The fishing was "slow" for Guatemala, but we still had a great time, releasing 20 sails in 4 days with a few dorado and bonito thrown in. We enjoyed Antigua very much, also. We were thrilled and amazed to be so well cared for from beginning to end on this trip by both you and the Great Sailfishing Company.

The only negatives involved Delta Airlines, which had nothing to do with you! You may want to let your future clients know that it has been a frequent occurrence (according to Les) for passengers arriving in Guatemala City on Delta to arrive without their baggage. We were two days without ours, but had enough essentials in our carry on bags, and heck it was a fishing trip, so we didn't need too much.

Thanks for your great service,

Feel free to use us as a reference,
