Fishing Venezuela
Summer months are the peak season for Venezuela swordfish.
The combination of trade winds and currents cause the upwelling of
nutrients from January through June and attract huge
schools of bait fish that, in turn, are prey for great numbers
of billfish, particularly Blue Marlin which peak from December
through April. White Marlin and Sailfish abound year around,
peaking from August through November. Spearfish can also be
caught from the bank with the best months for them being November - March.
