Karluk Riverside Camp offers some of the best salmon fishing in Alaska, at the best price. The highlight of the Karluk fishery is the silver salmon run which begins in late August and continues throughout the month of September. There are heavy concentrations of silvers in the river and catches of 15 to 30 salmon per angler per day are recorded on a regular basis. These silvers are large, with many up to 20 pounds. The kings are also good-sized ranging from 20 to 40 pounds and some up to 55 pounds. The smaller sockeye are in the 4 to 12 pound range.

At $1,895.00 per week per angler, Karluk Riverside Camp is one of the BEST Buys in all Alaska, a Fishing International endorsed Camp. The native village of Karluk is reached only by air from Kodiak, a thirty minute flight. Fishing International can handle all plane reservations. Guests are greeted at the Karluk Airfield by camp operators and transferred to the lodge by vehicle.

Fly fishing brown trout. In addition to the rivers, Five Rivers Lodge uses over two acres of spring fed ponds and more than 23 miles of private wading access on a spring creek. Very large brown trout inhabit the spring creek, many 24" to 26" long. Anglers regularly hook 8 to 10 fish a day over 20". It is divided into seven sections and two anglers are allowed to fish each section only once every seven days. No wonder many of their guests catch the largest brown trout of their fishing careers.
