Uniquely sequestered on a quiet peninsula directly adjacent to the Bay of Islands, Russell feels pleasantly isolated from the troubles of rest of the world. The town is very conscious of its unique heritage and works to preserve its historic character and the natural beauty of the bay. Transfer to quaint inn. All of the village, your boat, restaurant and pubs are within easy strolling distance. Day at leisure to explore this wonderful old village. Perhaps take time for a beer or two at the picturesque pub, listening to tails of the day at sea, before an outstanding seafood dinner at one of the charming, funny little restaurants along The Strand overlooking Kororareka Bay. Meet your Captain.
