Pond's Resort on the Miramichi
New Brunswick, Canada
Welcome to the Miramichi Experience!
T
he Miramichi River is a naturally healthy and prolific river for Atlantic Salmon and Trout. The king of sport fish, the wild Atlantic Salmon has been the soul of the Miramichi River for hundreds of years and the mystique of this majestic fish has influenced Pond's lodge for generations. For over 81 years the Pond Family has operated a fly-fishing lodge for anglers of wild Atlantic Salmon on the Main Southwest Branch of the mighty Miramichi River. Pond's has been recognized by the international Atlantic Salmon Federation (ASF) and the Miramichi Salmon Association (MSA) for the lodge's decades-long stewardship of the river and the fish. Our guests enjoy the expertise and tradition of a renowned fly-fishing lodge in a fully-serviced operation with fully guided Private water.
At Pond's Resort on the Miramichi you will experience the ambiance of a traditional lodge: in the riverside cabins, reminiscent of old time fishing camps; the Old Lodge, complete with great room and river stone fireplace, built in 1927; traditional recipes are the basis of our creative country cuisine; the skill of our Guides is rooted in local knowledge. Each is a professional, certified, experienced and knowlegable about the Miramichi River, wild Atlantic Salmon, fishing flies, gear ... and of course, the stories for which this area is famous! Pond's has been here for four generations, and we welcome you to share the experience of the Miramichi River with us!
