On the west coast of Vancouver Island in Barkley Sound there is a sanctuary of calm waters surrounding the Broken Group Islands. Nestled in a secluded cove, there you will find Harrison's Cove Lodge.

t Harrison's Cove Lodge we predominately fish for Chinook (King) & Coho (Silver) Salmon, Halibut and Rock fish. Our season presently runs from May to mid September. During the earlier season, May through July we see extremely large numbers of Chinook and Coho Salmon throughout Barkley Sound. During this time period its not uncommon to have as many as 15 to 20 Chinook and 20 to 30 Coho to the boat in one day.
Our location offers access to the famous Broken Group Islands where the scenery is breathtaking. But, there's more to Barkley Sound then just the Broken Group, during the months of May through July we see extremely large numbers of Chinook and Coho salmon throughout Barkley Sound. During this period it is not uncommon to have 15-20 Chinook and 20-30 Coho to the boat in one day. For the Kayakers our knowledge will give you directions to see rivers, waterfalls, caves, bears eagles, otters and in the spring the majestic migrations of Gray Whales.
Silver Salmon - The coho (Silvers), are extremely abundant from the beginning of June right the way through July, Starting around the 5lb mark, they get progressively bigger throughout the summer. Towards the end of July these fish will average between 7 to 10 pounds with the biggest up to 18 pounds.
Halibut has become a very popular game fish. These brutes are caught throughout the season. They range from 20 to well over 200 pounds with the average being around the 40 lb size. Guests will limit out virtually every day when specifically targeting this species.
And when your fishing adventure is done, we will clean, fillet or leave whole your catch, and then package it up in styrofoam coolers/cardboard outers, for ease of travel.

Rates are per person, and do not include air fare.
Packages are All-Inclusive, providing: accommodations at Harrison's Cove Lodge, all snacks and meals, fishing licenses and all fishing gear, tackle and bait, guides, a minimum of 10 hours of guided fishing per full day, and 4 to 6 hours on arrival and departure days, all cleaning and packaging of your catch in bags and Styrofoam coolers for your travel home.
All Guest rooms are very comfortable. Each room has a double and single bed as well as it's own 2-1/2 piece bathroom. For our inclusive trips we provide delicious home cooked breakfasts and dinners and boxed lunches for those wishing to spend the day on the water. Local seafood is one of our specialties and is served daily.
We have been told that Harrison's Cove Lodge is one of the most comfortable and beautiful fishing resorts. The lodge itself is nestled amid virgin west coast timber, on the calm waters of the inlet. After a day of fishing or kayaking, our guests relax in the main lodge, have a workout in our excersize room, retire to there own rooms or experience the great outdoors.
The lodge built with natural cedar has vaulted ceilings, a large dining room with lounging area. A sun room compliments the spacious dock area and a recreation room with ping pong and pool tables, darts and a universal gym is available for your use and enjoyment.
