his lodge feature both freshwater
and fly-out fishing as well as saltwater fishing. You can
have it all. Stay in your own private log cabin or guest
room with the best location in Homer between downtown and
the Homer Spit. Lakefront log cabins and guestrooms,
floatplane dock, private baths, kitchenettes and cable TV.
The lodge offers all-inclusive adventure packages with
Katmai bear viewing, flightseeing and halibut and salmon
fishing charters as well as many other exciting activities.

Halibut Fishing: Saltwater fishing in Cook Inlet. Limit 2
per day with fish running up to 300lbs plus. Average fish
size 35 lbs. All day excursion leaving Boat Harbor at 6:00
A.M. and returning at app. 6:00 P.M. Halibut can be caught
throughout the summer season with excellent catch results.
Salmon Fishing: Fishing for King
Salmon in Kachemak Bay and Cook Inlet is usually good
throughout the year with June the peak season for first run
kings. Silver Salmon fishing is usually August 1st thru Sept
15.
Kenai River Drift Salmon Fishing: World Famous Trophy King and
SilverSalmon fishing on the Kenai River. Van/Shuttle to the
Kenai for full day of drift fishing. Maximum of 3 people per
boat. Leave from Lodge asearly as 4:00 A.M. to arrive at the
river by 5:30. Breakfast provided while en route to River.
Time of departure will be Tide dependent.
Fly-out Guided Fishing: Full day of Pilot guided fly-out
fishing includes pick-up at Lodge in either Beaver or Otter
Floatplane with transfer by Jet Ranger helicopter to the
world famous Chuitna River. King salmon fishing at its
greatest with the opportunity for Trophies with no crowds. Limited to one day of flyout per guest visit.
Bear Viewing at Brooks Falls: Full day of bear
viewing at popular brooks falls in Katmai National Park. All
bear viewing tours leave from our dock at approximately 8:30
A.M.
Dinner Cruise to Halibut Cove:
Available to all package guests for one nights dinner
cruise. Boat departs harbor at 5:00 so be sure to check the
return time from the days activity.
Floatplane to Glacier: Flyout to Grewingk Glacier with Kayak adventure over
to Glacier Ice. Short hike down to Kachemak Bay for a return
Water Taxi ride via Gull Island Bird Sanctuary back to
Homer.
Guided River Fishing: Guided
Fly-fishing on local rivers and lakes. This adventure
includes a full day of instruction at locations local to
Homer. Fish caught will include Dolly Varden, Steelhead and
Salmon (depending on dates). This will be mostly catch and
release on the Anchor River and at Deep Creek.
